A Lighting Distribution Board (LDB) takes a feeder from the power distribution board or PCC and divides it into protected single-phase and three-phase lighting circuits. It can be equipped with RCCB earth-leakage protection, timer or contactor-based control for zone-wise switching, and metering arrangements where lighting energy consumption needs to be monitored separately.
