A TS (Auto Changeover) Panel is designed to automatically transfer the electrical load between two available power sources, such as utility mains and a standby generator. In residential buildings, hospitals, commercial facilities, and other critical installations, the system ensures continuity of power when the primary supply fails. The AMF/ATS control system monitors the availability of the utility supply, initiates the generator start sequence when required, and transfers the emergency load to the backup source once stable power is available.
When the utility supply is restored and remains stable, the system automatically transfers the load back to the mains and initiates the generator shutdown sequence after the required cool-down period.
